Wakman Group is one of the largest importers and distributors of milk powder in Afghanistan. We supply skimmed milk powder (low, medium and high heat), whole milk powder at 26–28% fat, instantised powders, sweet whey powder, and retail milk powder tins — sourced from Irish, German, Dutch and New Zealand dairies and delivered with a full certificate of analysis on every lot to dairies, bakeries, confectioners and beverage plants across the country.

Wakman Group supplies gum base directly to Afghan chewing gum and bubble gum manufacturers. We stock and import chewing gum base and high-elasticity bubble gum base in slab, pellet and powder form, together with the complete system around it: glycerine and sorbitol softeners, food-grade waxes, xylitol, maltitol and sugar coating systems, polishing agents, and mint, fruit and cooling flavour systems. Yes. Beyond raw materials we import fast-moving consumer goods for wholesalers, distributors and retailers: carbonated drinks, juices and water, biscuits, wafers, cakes and snacks, confectionery and chewing gum, UHT and evaporated milk, condensed milk and creamers, tea, coffee and 3-in-1 mixes, packaged staples such as rice, sugar, pasta, cooking oil and tomato paste, plus detergents, soaps, shampoo and tissue in home and personal care.

For dairy we supply SMP, WMP, whey powder, milk proteins, butter and AMF, stabiliser and emulsifier systems, cultures support ingredients, phosphates, flavours and packaging. For beverages we supply beverage flavour systems and emulsions, sugar and glucose, high-intensity sweeteners, acidulants such as citric and malic acid, preservatives, colours, pectin and stabilisers, and PET and closure materials.

Yes. Bakery improvers, emulsifiers, enzymes, yeast, baking soda and ammonium bicarbonate, specialty fats and shortenings, glucose and invert syrups, cocoa powder and compound chocolate, starches, milk powder and heat-stable flavours are all regular lines, delivered to bakeries and biscuit and candy plants across Afghanistan.

We source from manufacturers in Europe (Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Türkiye), Asia (India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia), the GCC, New Zealand and the CIS region, depending on the specification, price point and lead time you need.

It depends on the material. Many food ingredients start from around 100–500 kg for flavours and enzymes, and around 1–5 MT for milk powder, starches and gum base; these can be consolidated into one mixed container. Bulk lines such as fertiliser, edible oil or steel typically start at full truck or container loads. Tell us your item and volume and we will confirm the workable MOQ.

Yes. We quote FOB, CIF or delivered-to-factory. Our team handles freight booking, import documentation, customs clearance and inland delivery to production sites in Kabul, Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, Jalalabad, Kandahar and the surrounding provinces.

Yes. For most food ingredients we can arrange manufacturer specification sheets, certificates of analysis, halal documentation where applicable, and samples for line trials before you commit to a full order.

Typical lead times are two to four weeks for material held in regional stock and six to ten weeks for direct manufacturer production, depending on origin and corridor. Urgent requirements can often be covered from stock in Kabul.

We import the full food-grade chemical range used by Afghan factories: citric acid, malic acid, lactic acid, acetic acid and tartaric acid; sodium bicarbonate and ammonium bicarbonate; food phosphates such as STPP, SAPP, TSPP, DSP, MSP and sodium hexametaphosphate; sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and calcium propionate; ascorbic acid and tocopherol antioxidants; mono sodium glutamate and yeast extract; sodium and potassium citrate; calcium chloride and calcium carbonate; sodium metabisulphite; and food-grade caustic soda and nitric acid for CIP cleaning. Every consignment ships with a manufacturer certificate of analysis and food-grade or halal documentation where applicable.

Wakman Group supplies citric acid monohydrate and anhydrous in 25 kg bags to beverage plants, juice and jam producers, confectioners and detergent manufacturers, sourced from established Chinese and European producers. We also carry sodium citrate, malic acid and blended acidulant systems for soft drinks and powdered beverages.

Yes. Sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP), tetrasodium pyrophosphate (TSPP), sodium acid pyrophosphate (SAPP), disodium and monosodium phosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP) and phosphate blends for processed cheese, UHT milk, meat and poultry injection, and baking powder systems — with dosage guidance from our technical desk.

Sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, calcium propionate, natamycin, nisin, sodium metabisulphite, sodium diacetate and vinegar powders, plus clean-label cultured dextrose and rosemary extract alternatives for producers moving away from E-numbers.

Yes — pectin (HM and LM), xanthan gum, guar gum, carrageenan, CMC, gellan, gelatin and agar, plus tailor-made stabiliser and emulsifier blends for yoghurt, ice cream, UHT milk, juice, sauces and processed cheese.

We supply alpha-amylase, xylanase, glucose oxidase and lipase for bakery improvers, rennet and lactase for dairy, and pectinase and amylase for juice clarification and starch processing, shipped temperature-controlled where the specification requires it.

All food-contact materials are supplied to food-grade specification with a certificate of analysis per lot, and halal certification is provided where the manufacturer holds it. We can also share allergen, GMO and kosher statements on request.

Standard packing is 25 kg bags or drums, 20–25 kg cartons for enzymes and flavours, and 1 MT jumbo bags for bulk acids and phosphates. Minimums typically start around 500 kg to 1 MT per item and can be consolidated with other lines into one mixed container.

Yes. We import caustic soda flakes and pearls, soda ash light and dense, sodium silicate, sulphuric and hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide, calcium hypochlorite and chlorine for water treatment, titanium dioxide and pigments, solvents, adhesives and resins, and surfactants such as LABSA, SLES and sodium sulphate for detergent and soap plants.

PET resin for bottle preforms, HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE, polypropylene homopolymer and copolymer, PVC resin, masterbatches, and additives such as UV stabilisers and processing aids for injection, blow moulding and film extrusion lines.

We only handle materials that can be imported and documented lawfully. Dangerous-goods classified items are shipped with correct UN packing, MSDS, DG declarations and the required import permissions; anything we cannot document properly, we decline.

Wakman Group supplies potassium carbonate (K2CO3, 99% purity) in 25 kg bags from Chinese, German and Indian producers, delivered to raisin processing plants in Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Parwan and Balkh. It is the standard dipping chemical used to dry grapes into golden and green raisins. Minimum order is one tonne (40 bags), and larger seasonal volumes are held in our Kabul warehouse before the grape harvest.

Grapes are dipped in a warm solution of potassium carbonate — typically 2.5% to 5% K2CO3 — combined with a food-grade dipping oil such as ethyl oleate. The solution removes the waxy bloom on the grape skin so moisture escapes faster, cutting drying time from around three weeks to under one week, keeping the colour bright and reducing mould losses. Exact concentration depends on grape variety, skin thickness and whether you are producing green, golden or sultana raisins.

Dipping oil is a food-grade ethyl oleate or olive-oil based emulsion used together with potassium carbonate in the dipping tank. Wakman Group supplies both in one shipment, so processors receive the carbonate in 25 kg bags and the oil in drums or jerrycans with dosage guidance for the tank size and grape variety.

Sulphuring with food-grade sulphur or sodium metabisulphite (SMBS) keeps apricots and figs light in colour and controls mould, within permitted SO2 residue limits for export markets. Potassium sorbate is used on packed fruit with higher residual moisture, and food-grade caustic soda is used for skin-checking and peeling. We supply all of these in 25 kg bags with certificates of analysis.

Yes. A large part of our warehouse stock is held in 25 kg bags and small packs so processors, bakeries, workshops and traders can buy one tonne — or even a few bags — instead of a full container. Potassium carbonate, citric acid, baking soda, xanthan gum, sodium metabisulphite, benzoates and sorbates, CMC, calcium chloride and water treatment chemicals are all available this way from Kabul.

For stocked items the minimum is usually 1 MT (40 bags of 25 kg), and delivery from our Kabul warehouse is same or next day. For items brought in to order, plan 3 to 6 weeks depending on origin. Payment is in AFN or USD, and we can deliver to your factory anywhere in Afghanistan.

Every lot ships with a manufacturer certificate of analysis stating purity, heavy metals and microbiology, plus MSDS. Halal and kosher certificates, food-grade declarations and origin certificates are provided on request for regulatory filings and customer audits.
